Timo Roujean
Timo Roujean has worked for the Konrad Adenauer Foundation since July 2025 and has headed its office in the Democratic Republic of Congo since October 2025. Previously, he worked at the Munich Security Conference. He studied political science and public administration in Konstanz and Tallinn, as well as peace and conflict studies in Tübingen, Paris, and Oman. He gained practical experience in Azerbaijan, Georgia, and at the Center for International Peace Research (ZIF) in Berlin, among other places. His research focuses on resource conflicts in the Global South, mediation, interreligious dialogue, and the South Caucasus.
He conducted research in the DRC for his master’s thesis.
