The American Chamber of Commerce in Germany e.V. cordially invites you to attend a high-level Business Conference in the realm of its 119th Annual Membership Meeting (AMM), which will be held as an in-person event on July 6, 2023, 12 PM – 4:00 PM at the Hotel de Rome in Berlin.
The half-day business conference will start with a light lunch at noon. It will be open to both AmCham Germany members and non-members and offer insights from government and industry experts in various formats, including keynote speeches and a panel discussion.

Kicking-off the business conference, Wolfgang Schmidt, Head of the Federal Chancellery and Federal Minister for Special Tasks, will be joining in the afternoon for a keynote and exchange with AmCham Germany President Simone Menne on the German administration’s perspective on and vision for the future of the transatlantic partnership. He will also engage in a moderated Q&A with the audience.
We will then host a panel discussion on „Future-Proofing Transatlantic Business in an Age of AI Revolutions: How Transatlantic Sovereignty Can Contribute to More Competitiveness, Resilience, and Responsiveness in our Economies“ featuring Adel Al-Saleh, CEO of T-Systems and Member of the Board of Management, Deutsche Telekom AG, Klaus Bürg, Vice President EMEA, Palo Alto Networks GmbH, and Christoph Weigler, General Manager DACH, Uber.
We are also honored that U.S. Ambassador to Germany Dr. Amy Gutmann will deliver closing keynote remarks on how to strengthen the transatlantic partnership in the months and years ahead, and engage in a Q&A with AmCham Germany President Simone Menne.

Admission Fees
The admission fees for the business conference from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, including a light lunch, are 50 € for AmCham Germany members and member company representatives and 100 € for non-members.
An invoice will be issued after the event has taken place.
Please note that a cancellation up to 5 days prior to the event is free of charge.
