The Creative Bureaucracy Festival 2023

Diese Veranstaltung liegt in der Vergangenheit.

Every year over 1,000 international participants from government, politics, civil society and other change-making organisations join us to share and celebrate outstanding examples of innovative public administrations. The Creative Bureaucracy Festival will return on 15 June 2023 in Berlin. Once again we will welcome creative minds, public sector innovators, creative changemakers from all over the world. We are currently working on another great edition and will update this page with news on speakers, programme and all other details closer to the event.

When?

The Festival takes place on 15 June 2023 in Berlin. We start off with our Grand Opening and offer a packed programme with a Grand Finale including our Award Ceremony at the end of the festival, followed by an evening reception. Once again we will kick off the new year with the Digital Kick-Off Day on 23 March 2023, our free online event prior to the festival.

Where?

The Festival takes place at the event location Radialsystem in Berlin. Radialsystem is located on the bank of the Spree River, just across the street from the train station Ostbahnhof. A five minute walk away from the station, it can be easily reached with the S-Bahn, by bus and by local and express trains.

What’s on?

In 2022 the festival showcased over 60 keynotes, seminars, bowls and workshops as well as a variety of networking opportunities with more than 150 speakers from around the globe. We are currently working on the new programme and will publish it here first! Browse through our speakers list to see who came in previous years.

Creative Bureaucracy Festival
The Creative Bureaucracy Festival celebrates outstanding innovation in the public sector and its contribution to strengthening democracy as the basis for a more sustainable, just and thriving world. It brings together bureaucrats and their allies – those who, at all levels of government, fight for the common good and make a difference. Our mission: We want to cultivate a more positive attitude towards the public sector as well as more drive and eagerness to experiment within the public sector.
